Traverse the night sky and learn what planets\, constellations\, and stars will be out on your Halloween evening. A fun filled program for the whole family! \n  \n\n\nTickets for planetarium programs are $7 for Adults\, $6 for UMaine Students/Veterans/Senior Citizens\, and $5 for children under 12. Take your “Spooky Scary Skeletons” out of the closet and join us at the Versant Power Astronomy Center for a month-long “Monster Mash”!  We will “Put a Spell on You” for the entire month of October with a menacing myriad of modern and classic Halloween tunes set to planetarium visuals that will surely haunt the very depths of your soul!  Muahahahaha! \nTickets are $9 for general admission. \nMusic programs may contain explicit content\, and are intended for adult audiences. All music programs may contain bright flashing lights and fast-moving images\, which have been known to trigger seizures with those with photosensitive epilepsy. For years\, the Event Horizon Telescope has been staring into the hearts of the Milky Way and the galaxy Messier 87\, trying to obtain a picture of the shadow of Sagittarius A*\, our galaxy’s central supermassive black hole\, and the black hole M87*.
