Join us at the Versant Power Astronomy Center and the Maynard Jordan Planetarium for a one-of-a-kind screening of The Heart of New England from the Museum of Science, Boston -featuring special guests and stars of the film, Brianne and Kaya Lolar. This exclusive event celebrates Bri and Kaya’s inspiring journey – and their commitment to expanding access to science education across our region. Narrated by native New Englanders Uzo Aduba and Mindy Kaling, the film showcases the region’s trademark tenacity and hope through snapshots and perspectives of many of those who call it home: storytellers, conservationists, athletes, students, scientists, engineers, and others. Please be advised the film briefly mentions the 2013 attack on Boston.
