On July 5th at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm the Astronomy Center will host a Jupiter encounter event for the Juno Spacecraft. This is a special planetarium presentation. Over the next few years Juno will study Jupiter’s formation, map its magnetic field, measure water and ammonia levels in its atmosphere, observe auroral activity, and even try to determine if there is a solid core under all those clouds. We’ll be showcasing the first set of Juno images, streaming NASA TV, and have lots of information about both the planet and the space probe. Join us for this spectacular event in the planetarium!
