Scott Mitchell

B.S. Physics, Minor in Astronomy

Responsible for presentations, development of planetarium shows and activities, and coordination and operation of the Maynard F. Jordan Observatory. Scott is a graduate student at the University of Maine pursuing a Masters of Engineering in Engineering Physics, with a  concentration in Aerospace.

Research interests include aerospace design, exoplanets, and science education

Scott is also the host and head writer for the planetarium’s satirical talk show “The To-Night Show at the Emera Astronomy Center” because he think’s he’s funny.
